Fake names

Okay am I being totally naive here?

How many folk on here use fake names?

I have just found out that a person who I have talked with for weeks who I consider a genuine friend and have met socially has fake named me. I have been calling them by that name for weeks and am actually genuinely gutted that they fake named me lol!

Should I be gutted or am I just totally naive about this??

Nessarosa is her witch name.

I do call her Nessarosa or Nessa and she calls me Lee (depending on what I've done...lol)

My name is very unique, its not a lie. It saves time explaining what my mom and dad did. (I do love my name)

Just couldn't imagine using a different one!

We have a three-tier system for our fake names. Fake names on here, then once we meet, we give different fake names that have associated fake social media accounts. Then a last level of fake name for our professional facades. It gives us options for flitting/ committing perfect crimes/ being Batman etc.

I do have a fake name from my dancing days that I would still naturally answer to since I was called it for years!

I kept my own name a secret as I got searched on Facebook and all my stuff from fab sent to my family which is why I just stick to Tina for swinging. But when I get closer to people I trust I give my real name but 90% of the time i still get tina. Which I quite like anyway x

Our user name obviously isn't our real name, but once we've chatted with people and feel comfortable, then we do use our own names, which do start with a B and L x

Yeah my names not Ruby but I introduce myself as my real name when first meeting someone face to face usually.

We would tell someone our real name from the start. I've had a few people tell me their real name and I was like.... Nah, that's too confusing, I'm just going to call you "blah..."

I've always known you as tina. Even when I found out your real name I was like.. nah, she looks like a tina hahaha!
