They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm not sure I'm wearing the right aftershave then lol

For me and most others its about much more than looks.

I tend to go for people I can see a bit of their personality either in their profile or message.

Im a big fan of the forums, most of the people Im attracted to its grown over time from seeing how they interact with others.

Yes a good body might get someone to look but it wont make them stick around and want more.

I partly agree but lets be honest on a site like this most people are not looking to stick around for more anyway.

There needs to be some sort of physical attraction and then a nice personality and similar interests to seal the deal.

Well said I'm not meaning body wise. I have all arms legs and a bit of a homer belly albeit when I hold it in it looks ok.

I'm more meaning the fact that when I do actually send a face pic and get no feedback whatsoever. Makes you feel a bit left out but hey ho as has been said. That's the beauty of sticking out from the crowd

As has been said before it's a large site where choice for ladies is huge however 90% of what is out there for ladies is pretty poor with poor manners etiquette and conversation.

You just have to stick with it keep being you be polite engaging even witty. At some point women will see that there is a genuine guy at the other end of the device and hey presto your into the realms of a social.

At the end of the day looks are relative - what.one person finds attractive others won't. My daughter loves whippet thin guys and I adore chunky build with height being a factor. But personality wins in the end.

Personally, I couldn't actually define attraction.

It's either there, or it's not.

Yes it helps if they are good looking but attraction comes in all shapes and sizes and ages for me.

But, it's definitely NOT just about looks. That's actually quite a small part of it.

They could be absolutely gorgeous but be dull as dishwater.

I am certainly not.glamorous or stunning. I know that. I am probably more 'the girl next door' looks and won't turn heads. But I am an extremely confident person and that probably tips the balance for any success I have had on fab and elsewhere

You can't help who you click with and it's not always the best looking guy.

Nice eyes and a smile do it for me usually. Difficult to tell without seeing a pic. But people sometimes judge by your status or comments made in forums.

People's personalities come out in the forums more as they offer advice or voice an opinion.

I usually tell someone if they aren't what I'm looking for.
