Edinburgh

Deeply saddened by the tragic events in Manchester last night.

My thoughts are with the families and friends of those affected.

absolutely sickned that a concert attended by kids and teenagers has been targetted .

i wont say what i really want to and what my thoughts are as i dont want to get into a political or religous debate .

all i will say is

darkness cannot drive out darkness

only light can do that

hate cannot drive out hate

only love can do that

Sad news brings a quote to my mind

Success is not final failure is not fatal it is the courage to continue that counts.

unfortunatly i believe it wont be long before another churchill quote will be used.

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Totally understand what you mean Villain and you are right, it can sometimes end up into a politico-religious debate and.....

Equally feel for Syrian, Iraqi and children of Yemen who are killed in their hundreds on a daily basis whom the western media consistently overlook. Be they Whitehall/White House/Kremlin terrorists or ISIS/Islamic Fundamentalist terror groups it doesnt look like they are going to cease any time soon and we the ordinary people will take the brunt of it

Absolutely sickening and something nobody should ever experience let alone hear about.

Not content that one part of the world is under constant threat of terror, but they want to bring it to the rest of the world.

My deepest sympathies go out to everybody who was affected by this act of cowardice.

Xx

Sickening that this is happening daily in other countries but we don't really have it put in our faces till it happens on our doorstep.

Scary world we live in.

No matter who, where or when, it's always a senseless and unnecessary act.

Especially when they are so young and haven't even had a chance to live their lives.

Terrorism is the act of cowards but that does not change anything for those that have lost someone... A tragic and truly horrible event.

Yes indeed. Thankfully a rare occurrence in the west. As you say, daily in the Middle East. All equally unacceptable.
