Just out of curiosity.

I wanted to ask if there were any couples, whom either one or both, Were very doubtful or hesitant that they would ever enjoy swinging.

But once they actually tried it, grew to really love it?

I don't particularly mean full swapping, i mean any aspect of it.

Evening dudes. My ex and I were together 11 years and had a few years in the swinging scene. We started off with socials as we were very uncertain, when we wanted to take the next steps we started slow, social ending with a kiss, soft swing etc. (Break up was non swing related)

If your unsure take it slow, gives you all the better chance to relax and explore. All the best

Hubby and I both enjoyed it when we 1st started

But...over the yrs hubby found it too much hassle to arrange meets with cpls .so he very rarely gets involved now

But happy for me to meet alone

I was introduced to it by C, he had years of experience so I knew I was in good hands but I was still nervous and unsure. But happy to give it a go, and I took to it like a duck to water (C's words)

It's good to actually hear how others felt and know that it's not just us.

We have an image of how first experiences would go, but we obviously can't imagine how it would actually go.

I would imagine most couples would have at least one half who's a bit doubtful lol

After all, it's a big first step for a couple to take

and you have no idea how it's really going to pan out.

Still very much newbies here, yes I know, at our age lmao

although we had always intended to try it out and if we didn't like it,

nothing ventured nothing gained.

As it happens we had a ball, and we can certainly see how the social side

at the very least would give you a taste for wanting more,

swinging couples are a friendly and fun bunch by nature we've found lol

I joined on here with my Mrs looking for a F she could play with to tease me. She bottled it, dont think she could deal with the thought of someone knowing who she is.

I have always had a very high sex drive and well into kink. I used another site prior to fab and prior to that, before internet and mobiles- a contact mag. However the site has been fine for me

Personally I'd recommend as holiday in the sun, where it's just fun

somewhere like playa del inglis for instance lol

Yep, I have been on the scene for a long time - contact mags were actually really good at the time! We got a box number for replies. There were actually seldom any timewasters doing it this way!

I met two couples through that when i was younger and single

It was through that i became interested in it all and decided i wanted to experience the other side of the meets with the wife i hadn't even met yet...lol

It's a huge step, that's why i'd rather seek as much advice as i can before hand.

I'd rather she knew the bad points as well as the good to see how they weigh up against each other. Then she could make a decision.

I really like the idea of the social side, i find even talking about it to be exciting.

And from who i've chatted to on here this time around, i'm liking how friendly it is.

We tried a profile out way back when fab first started and i've never known such bitchy argumentative women in all my life... And that was the husbands

We spoke about dogging, blindfolded though... Just hope i get there without crashing

No seriously though, she a blindfold might make her less nervous... The "what you can't see can't hurt you" theory and that.

We did kind of try it when i picked her up from a night out one night. But she got spooked when someone pulled up beside us.

She was only wearing heels at the time though so she was pretty brave that night.

Police had to ruin the fun though.

Yeah the relaxed social approach sounds like our cup of tea if any.

I've went over a few scenarios in my mind and i imagine that it would just take one rushed moment to knock my wife out of her comfort zone and it could probably ruin it for good.

We are both very sociable so it would take a lot to knock us out of that comfort zone.
