Remember back in, probably 86, they were playing the playhouse. I'd been skipping the school and was getting the. Us home and caught the sign on the front saying 'tix on sale tomorrow'.

Never gave it much thought til two girls at my school who were MASSIVE Stryper fans were talking about the band one day in the library and I misheard and said 'oh tickets go o sale tomorrow at 9am'.

They were ecstatic, which I thought was off, and they themselves dogged school following day to go get tickets.

How popular was I that afternoon when they came back...

I bet they were converted though,I remember being at the clash of the Titans tour and meeting Kerry king on princess street and following him back to his hotel and met all the bands that were playing, then met up with a bunch of folk from Edinburgh, what a laugh we had that night, amazing gig

Know what you mean. Haven't seen them for years. They were at festival in Austria I was just at but in too late to catch them. Late tomorrow too.

Should be free most of tomorrow if anyone fancies a pint - like a genuine just a pint, though after this week it'll be a few for me!! Depending what time we get away from Grasspop should be there lunchtime.

Was waaaaaaay too hot for me lol. I watched Pitchshifter then went to my hotel. Couldn't handle the heat. Had suffered a week of it at that temp by that point.

Pleased the locals moved all the signs to get in! Was driving round in circles trying to find the right bit and they park EVERYWHERE!

No easy with 70ft o truck.

Sure you will all have a great time. Honestly not convinced metal works best at outdoor festivals. Last time I went abroad was for three of the big 4 concerts. We were in the golden circle and had smuggled over drugs, all three dates were great but majority of crowd was subdued compared to us

Guys who run Hammerfest are same guys that do Hard Rock Hell (Chic Events/ Talent) and are just muppets in my opinion. They do dance shit in Ibiza too.

Definitely full of their own self importance.

Good ideas, just not executed very well.
