I'd expect they'd let me know of such hols ups though? I certainly have extended that courtesy when it's happened to me the other way round.

Different folks, different etiquettes I suppose

I've never had someone not turn up and never not turned up to a meet myself but I think the time you waited is the maximum I would to allow for the things mentioned above such as Blondiedd said, traffic etc in case they were unable to phone either but I would expect them to let me know what did happen soon as possible... as you said different etiquette's, or maybe just bad manners... only you can assess that one

It's happened a few times now, usually wait for about half hour to 40 mins then shoot. Last time, just over a fortnight, I did get a social meet which we both thought went well, (bit of kissing and fumbling) arranged a play date and after a couple more messages, nothing.

Then found out I'm on the blocked list.

Still trying to figure out where I went wrong.

I personally wouldn't wait any longer than 15 minutes if I had no contact to say stuck in traffic or something similar. Tardiness is one of my pet hates, drives me nuts

30 min max. Then give them 48hrs for them to reach out to us...if not block and move on.

Common courtesy should be given.

However, women seem to follow Greek/Indian/south African/(choose other country) standard timing which is always 20-60 minutes later....

exactly if they are genuine they will contact you to let you know they are running late, otherwise it's just being ignorant in my book.

I (miss) am always late

But I'd always let the other people know I'm held up.

We tend to wait half an hour or just have a drink ourselves if things like that have happened.

We had one no show on our previous profile and he messaged us again on this one . No explanation or message given. He's currently on our block list

15 minutes, then I do something else.

I always make backup plans when it comes to any sort of meetup. That includes meeting non-Fab friends.

I don't know how many times I've had friends turn up late for things after hassling me for days prior to make sure I'm at the meeting point on time.

If that ever happens, you'll normally find me in the nearest coffee shop or certain shops.
