My wife is from Budapest where we have spent many, many enjoyable evenings. In total safety.

The first time I get the chance to show her my home city of Glasgow she is assaulted in Buchanan street bus station. Nobody did a thing as I ended up scuffling with 3 youths.

Whilst I know this can happen anywhere. It didn't. It happened in my home town and the incident left me deeply ashamed to be Glaswegian.

I am so sorry to hear that... I hope your wife is not traumatised. I do not understand the people standing and saying nothing. At least scream call the police...

I am not a super hero at least I would have done something clearly.

She actually took it better than me. I was just felt deeply ashamed and embarrassed.

We have been back a few times without any further.

Glasgow/London

Glasgow had the highest stabbing rate in UK isn't it?

.

I really like the friendly/harmless vibe in Glasgow. Coming from growing up in London, you have to constantly watch over your shoulder and guard your zips and pockets

And If you chatted to strangers on a train, you're either broken out from a mental institute or a sex pest
