i keep on gettIng a voice message on my lap top saying it is from microsoft and that i have a virus in my computer They ask me to call them or they will shut my computer down its a 0800 number is this a scam or is it genuine HELP

Was on the news cpl weeks ago...the number is some foreign chick asking your details hoping you will think it's genuine

Scam dont reply or if they phone and tell you that you have a virus tell them to gtf

it used to be a male voice but recently they changed it to a female voice.

just get don't worry, switch off computer /reboot and you'll be fine or do a online scan of your computer 9free one0 and it will be deleted

Its a piece of adware likely do a system roll back if your unsure how to delete. Roll comp back a fortnight end of msgs
