Is there a way of telling if someone has refused a friends invite or has just left it without accepting or refusing?

Just wondering as we've had a couple of random friends invites and very quickly after refusing them we've had another invite from them. I was wondering how they'd know it was refused?

We just leave them and don't respond so they can't keep sending them x

I think if you leave it and don't decline another can't be sent as it says something along the lines of you have already sent one x

I don't think anything would actively inform them. If they tried to send a friend invite while their last one was still unanswered, it wouldn't allow them. But if you've refused it, they'll be able to send another.

That must mean they're continually trying the friends request and getting a message saying they've already sent one, until we've got round to declining it.

It could. Or they forgot. Or maybe there's another reason I can't think of.

If someone sends us a random friends invite we wait until they are not online then accept, look at their friends only pics then if we don't like what we see or they have no face pics we delete them as friends lol

I'm very choosy about who I friend and won't accept unsolicited requests.

C on the other hand seems to be trying to friend the entire world. So I have regular clearouts and just don't tell him lol
