I'm looking to head out to a nearby-ish coastal area this week for a walk with good scenery/beachy area and decent cafes en route...

Do my fellow fabbers have Any suggestions please??

I did Troon last weekend.. What about rhu/Helensburgh...?

Go to Largs and hop on the ferry to Cumbrae and walk around the island

It was quiet when I cycled around it but couple of cafes there and also back in Largs

Is about 10 miles

We have done the fife coastal walk from Kincardine to Newburgh via St Andrews - about 180km in all but easy to do in stages :D currently starting the John Muir Way which is partly coastal - from Dunbar to Helensburgh (or vice versa!)
