Hang around turnstiles, constantly looking at your phone.

Eventually a security guard will ask if anything wrong. You say that your pal with tickets has not shown and you can not get in touch.

They may take pity and give you their complimentary ticket.

Worked for friends son and his 2pals on Saturday at Hampden!

Dout you will have any luck unless you fancy hospitality saw the tickets still on sale but they are pricey to say the least

Hardly.

That sounds like the most made up thing ever. In the day and age of electronic tickets and reserved seats and a steward just "takes pity" and compromises hos job and role so that he can let a couple of folk in???

Ridiculous.

i used to be a steward at celtic and never had a complimentary ticket to just give away..

considering how many security staff will be working the stadium would be half empty if they all had a complimentary ticket!

I shall see if can get more details.

I now that there were 3 of them, young lads, smartly dressed, not wearing colours.

I doubted it too, especially as the lad I know has no real interest in football, more of a rugby player.

But seen the pictures of them in stadium watching Aberdeen Hibs.
