We all know women are inundated with messages and cant reply even to say no thanks.

But does seem to be very cliquey like, and near impossible to get a response from most. Verified both by person and photo, yet cannot get anywhere here. Im no channing tatum but im not shrek either, so what is a guy to do?

Your profile doesn't scream meet me.

You said it yourself, women are bombarded with messages so you need to stand out.

Having only 4 private images and one sentence in your profile description isn't going to help you do that.

I dont understand what your meaning by cliquey your terminology for this word maybe diffrent from mine. I take it to mean a select group that is not inclusive to new folk.

That's not cliquey....it's simply people making a choice and not choosing you

Your profile is your shop window and yours is dull...boring..and like no effort made

Lots of people check out the profile before opening a message and if the profile is crap don't bother opening the message

If i was meeting.. If i got a message from you id look at your profile first and im afraid i wouldnt reply.. nothing stand out you have no public pics, you are competing against 100s of other guys your profile is your shop window

I have great success on fab but yes it's cliquey on forums sadly and party invites. People frequently talk round you when you add comments. However it hasn't stopped me meeting people in the least!

What I never understand is, why do men not understand the basic concept of what a profile is there for.

It's for your benefit to set out your wares so to speak. But then I suppose it is much easier to whine and moan about why people aren't meeting you or replying to your messages, because we all like to think it is someone else's fault rather than look inwards and take responsibility for our own actions.

Simple structure is, what are you looking for? What are you offering? Why should someone want to meet you instead of the many others that have messaged them. Have some decent clear pictures of what you look like, like body, torso, bum etc, not just yet another cock pic, as I don't think many people have seen just a cock and thought 'I just have to meet the owner of that cock'

Without seeing other pictures of them.

It really is as simple as that, but then I suppose it would take away the fun of blaming others for your own misfortune

couldnt agree more...(in a non cliquey way of course ) too easy to blame everyone else for your failings here than look at yourself and figuring out what YOUR doing wrong...the word clique gets banded about all the time on here ..having been here since the early days i have never found this to be an issue ..the right attitude, expectation and using your profile to the max works wonders ...whinging is not a good look ..just my tuppence worth

Yep you do get cliques in all walks of.life from the gym to bowling clubs. My golf club is full of cliques and divas amongst the lady golfers but I honestly don't give a toss. I joined them both to participate.

Mate come on you can't turn round and say is cliquey because you don't get a reply, that's laughable. Make some more effort, its not a case of just log in, send an email and get your leg over.

The forums are cliquey but you tend to find it's just the same douchebags. Leave them to it, there's more to life that a fabswingers website

To be honest we have a long way to go when it comes to the swinging lifestyle up north we have all the raw materials and the market but we lack a good cook, every time I go down south to party I keep meeting a lot of amazing couples and singles from Scotland but there is no event that brings them together up north

Maximum effort gets maximum return. Single guys have a lot to live up too on here. Partly because there are so many and, unfortunately, because there are a few single guys on here who seem to think this is insta-shag and that just by being on the site woman should be falling at their feet.

As others have said put a bit of effort into your profile and pics. Get yourself out there in a positive way - whether it be forums, parties, one on one, clubs or socials.

Most of all don't blame cliques for not getting what you want out of fab.

^^ This, I totally agree with you about a North/South divide.

I have been to 3 clubs down south, 2 of which were large social events, but what I find to be the main difference between the North & South is mainly attitudes and expectations.

Until that changes a lot of people with continue to struggle if they think just by signing up to the site they will have women/couples/men flocking to meet them, then they become bitter because it didn't work out the way they expected it to.
