Sometimes I've been on fab, just having a wander and found a few girls or cpls have blocked me and I know for a fact I have never contacted them.

Well I was at a few big socials end of last year, (Glasgow and Dundee) and a Cpl of small ones and found some people coming up chatting to me, getting on but they didn't realise they originally blocked me.

Some found out after the social and then unblocked me as they found out what kinda person I really was. I don't hold any grudge if people block me as it's up to them and I feel that it's their loss.

What's your thoughts on being blocked, even if you don't know why

When I was on previously if I saw someone had looked and I didn't like their profile or had seen stuff I didn't like in the forum I would block them without having had any contact.

Personal choice.

Doesnt bother me one iota .

Im sure they have their reasons the same as I have my reasons for blocking too.

I can see where your coming from tho because if I look back at some Ive got no idea why I blocked but I dont block that often so there had to be a good reason for doing so

Agreed, nothing wrong with that.

personally I don't block, I just don't bother if someone I think is not for me.

I'm meaning initial thoughts being blocked, especially when you don't know, can easily change as when they met you at a social gathering.

Can understand you wanting to counter block but I don't react that way, I just think it over and then not bother as I know its their loss. I'm not one for drama or hassle so I chill out

It is not 'their loss' or 'my loss' just one of those things I don't try to analyse at all!

I block if I don't like something I read on forum and think i have nothing in common with that person.

I block sometimes when I see some pics in updates because... i dont want to see them again!

Block...Etc etc etc...

Whatever my reasons for blocking each reason makes sense to me!

And I accepted the same if someone blocks me!

It saves everyone time!

No one likes rejection it is true...

Sometimes if you block someone it is either you do have a little argument with just person or just do not like their profile.

Whenever it happens better move on and focus on the people that you get on well rather than running after the Ines that avoids you...

I think its one of those things, might of been when you were a newbie or might of been that they had quick look and decided you were not for them so thought to narrow down there options, might of been u put up a status and they are local to you that annoyed them or they know you ,point is its their choice, it has happend to me other that a quick i wonder why it dose not bother me each to their own

Sorry Kid, think you have looked at it the wrong way or I didn't express it they way I thought on the original post.

Sorry I have a good memory and usually at the big socials you know whos going cause they say so on the forum, so when you chat, names are exchanged and you remember.

I don't change for anyone, I am the same all the time. When being blocked, its people who blocked you who have never met or never been in contact as I have found and then when at a social and interaction it has changed.

One Cpl said they hadn't a clue why they originally blocked me loll

I never take offence as we all are old enough to make our own choices and decisions

Another thought was the profiles that have been banned but the profile pic, username, sent messages and forum posts remain. When you click on these it comes up as if they have blocked you, actually happened to one I reported for being fake last week, turns out its banned.

That possibly could describe the issue for some but obvs not the ones currently still using and going to socials. Maybe just glitches?

I've (mrs) blocked a few folk, but only because they wouldn't take no for an answer.

Saved my time and was less hassle.

But I wouldn't block anyone just because they weren't what we're looking for.

Generally a simple thanks but no thanks is all you need x

When I read down the forum posts, rather than scrolling up or pressing back on my phone, I click on the last person to posts profile and navigate from there.

Surprised sometimes to see people we have never spoken to have blocked us but everyone is looking for different things and attracted to different people. We won't be to everyones liking

I thought that if u block someone you didn't see what they post on forums though????

Some of them are pretty graphic and gross. Or they're putting out their number for anyone to get in touch, therefore desperate and will shag anyone. Or they're constantly whining that they're having no luck here and the place is full of munters, because they've discovered it's not instashag.

None of these things are attractive and I don't wish to see it, so yes - block.

I got blocked once for replying to a post on here saying i was attending a social..

Ide had a quick peek through who was going, a few more had posted later on, so i had another quick peek through attendees..... and found i was now blocked by a couple that i wasnt earlier...

Id never, winked, fabbed pics or contacted them, had no intention of ever contacting them.... so it did strike me as funny that my attendance at a social offended someone so much they had to block me

Process of elimination for me mainly I guess. Saves you replying to messages from people you're not interested in (and there's a whole lot of those, so does take up quite a lot of time which I'd rather spend on people I might meet up with at some point). A username can be reason enough for me to block someone. And, as someone mentioned earlier, a status or something mentioned in a profile could make it obvious you're not compatible.

It does happen a fair amount, far to many judgemental people about.

Recently I got blocked from a kik group for airing an opinion (granted it was an angry opinion) on something that recently happened to me in my own personal life, which may I add had nothing to do with fab. I was asked for my honest opinion on the incident, so gave an "honest" answer and got blocked. Makes me laugh really.

Tbh honest, it's not a big deal being off it now. Just let's me know what females to avoid on here , hahaha believe it or not the guys were a better laugh

if you forget to subscribe to fab then the notes disappear but good new, if your non supporting , say a month, when you become site supporter all pervious notes are still there

She never answered his last or any of our messages for that matter, as little one has been ill since Sunday. She went in to answer tonight only to find out she has been blocked. Well his loss. Ive blocked about 10 mile in my radious and for all sorts of reasons names status etc but im on here wanting what I want and get too many msg sometimes to reply to...its not like facebook lol doesn't bother me if i get blocked...sayin that if I found out i had've id probably cry for days

doesn't bother me in slightest , half the time I probably wouldn't notice.

although there was on I found rather cheeky someone we hadn't spoke to or interacted with in in way had blocked me on my chat profile where its always just me chatting (usually when Lils on this one chatting) but still wated to sit an watch Lils cam....we found that little cheeky so blocked them too

but in general we just don't care lol life is too short to worry what or why other do things on here lol

Have blocked less than a dozen ppl in 8yrs mostly for crude msgs not bothered at all who has blocked us as that is their choice

I only block people who message me and annoy me or if they message and I realise they are local or may know me I block.

Don't know who has blocked me and don't care if they have as its their loss hehe xx
