I just wonder if fab swingers is becoming more like a Facebook scene. Lots of people chatting, even going to socials ...which we do also. But.... I read so many profiles saying not meeting or we will find you..... thoughts? G x

Know what you mean, but seeing as I'm not really meeting at the moment I suppose I should be talking about myself. I don't mind why people are on here I'll chat to just about anyone, but there's a fair old bit of hostility around, too, which is very off-putting. Not to mention downright stupidity. The number of profiles that say they're looking for X or Y then have profiles from that kind of member blocked is quite stunning. Usually combined with "Are there no real people on here?", "Why can I not get any replies?", "Stuff this" and then "User no longer on site." messsages. mao

Where's the problem with this? People are here for all sorts of reasons and have no obligation to fulfill the requirements/ fantasies of any other members.

i think there are many reasons for this . for me i like he social aspect of swinging its not all about the sex , so im happy to chat with whoever about almost anything . as for no meetng just now etc etc folk have lives outside of swnging and i respect that its their decision maybe they having a tough time and will return to meeting when they better , or maybe they just want to wait a while , whatever the reason its their choice . so for me its not like facebook but rather like a sexually charged community without any expectations of sex . hope that makes sense

Seen a thread similar to this and i dont find the site anything like facebook.

People are here for all sorts of reasons and also have reasons for meeting anyone who asks , or meeting just with friends they have made , or not meeting.

I also have not meeting on my profile but dont feel the need to explain to the huffed element why i am not meeting. We all need to learn to respect others decisions and not get bogged down with what we think are negatives.

Just my humble opinion as always.

Well we fully admit to not doing meets. We were both on here as singles and have recently got together as a REAL couple and concentrating on our own relationship. However, saying that we still have many friends on fab and very much enjoy the social side and as being a member of fab is a requirement to going to socials, invites to parties etc we feel justufied to be here.

Just my opinion. xxx

I think too many people expect everyone to be able to meet them straight away - I honestly havent had any time for even a coffee meet never mind much else over the last few weeks and some people are just sooo impatient - as mentioned a little respect for the fact that we have lives outside of fab would go a long way

"i think face book is dagerous. i found out my ex was cheating on me by facebook,3 years down the drain and just found out a supposed single guy from here who ive been seeing alot of and swore hes single is on facebook and is actually engaged and with a different name.hence why i dont trust or post on facebook or the likes now"
