Went to a speed dating event last week in Glasgow really impressed. Going to another one Thursdsy this week.

What are other folks experiences?

Don't bother about the Edinburgh ones!

They cancelled one on the day, went to 2 last year with a friend and it was really poor!

But I left with a girl's number at the first one lol

One girl did!

They went somewhere else for a drink. Met her out the blue in a club couple months later and she said they went and another 5 dates and she's waiting to see where it goes!

Never been speed dating as I've been in a relationship since before it was a thing.

We were thinking of doing swinger speed dating at the Ayrshire social last year but we would need to do so many rounds like couples & couples, solo, Bi women and so on it would take most the night.

Last one was in Waxys, the one on Thursday is corinthian. Everyone really friendly, great fun, exciting, looking forward to it.

Its not so great for women ... our places fill up fast so you have to book about 2 months in advance and the last time i went the quality of men was terrible ... i can chat to anyone but some of these people couldnt even carry a 5 minute conversation ... if you are that socially awkward and nervous on a first date why would you put yourself through 10 in 1 night

However any time i have gone the women have been pretty good and for that reason im always recommending it to guys i know! Wont take much to stand head and shoulders above the guys that already go and have your pick of a room of pretty good women
