does it drive you to distraction when you get s free night you stick up a status to say looking for A B orC and the first three messages are from people who either didn't read your profile or status argghhhh

My pet peeve is the question 'what are you looking for on a meet?'. Read my PROFILE, I'm quite specific!!!

I guarantee if their profile is not amazing that they definitely will not be getting a meet

Or maybe people just bulk message everyone with the same copied and pasted message in the hope that something will stick?

I don't mind that I just delete, it's more annoying when you get the 'why you not answer me' message.

Or your profile is read and they decide they're what you're looking for regardless.

We stopped putting preferences and stuff we're into as it was either not read or misconstrued.

If 'no one' reads them does that include you ? Seems like a wide sweeping statement to me .

No point in having an update page also if that's the case.

Its common courtesy to actually read a profile before contact, not only that it can often save you wasting your own time... i always read profiles anyway im as equally if not more so attracted to personalities than looks alone.

If someone clearly cant be arsed or chooses to ignore mine, then i reserve the right to ignore messages, respond sarcastically or depending on what they wrote plain and simply tell them to fuck off...

Its often best to just ignore anyway, it saves the follow up whiney "but why not?" Messages after...."that answers also on the profile you didnt read"...

"Send me a face pic , and if I like I will respond"

When that person has absolutely no pics at all.

Of course you want to see who your talking to, but it goes both ways

Profiles says I only meet those who live locally and those outwith are not likely to get a reply...

But they read the profile and message from their blank, unverified profile and think that somehow they're the exception to the rulec

Yes and no. We have pics on our profile, if people send us messages but haven't included face pics I will ask for one. If I'm interested I'll return mine, if I'm not I won't. I'm not obliged to.
