I think that your friend and his partner probably need to sit down and talk to each other and attempt to sort out their issues.

I would say no mate not if it's all actually innocent. If it's innocent don't do it then you'll be literally under the thumb your whole relationship a do you wanna be with someone like that?

here's a tale. my then husband hardly used FB. then I noticed random woman being added to his account. I asked and he said work friends or gf of his pals. Didn't really question it. then he started using fb alot, messenger into the night. would get angry if i questioned it.

then one day our then 12 year old son used the laptop and ex had left himself logged in and our son discover his whole torrid affair. 4 months worth of Chat, meets and talk of love and leaving us for her. I kicked his arse out and a month later she dumped him and he lost everything.

so my advice. you either want to be with your partner in which case you need to talk to her more, quite chatting to others and adding them to fb which is a relationship killer

or leave your partner and spare her the hell and disrespect you are about to do if you follow the path you are currently walking

Just found out your were talking about emotional cheating. A word from the experienced mate. Emotionally cheating is just as bad, in some cases worse than the physical action and I whole heartedly agree with the advice given above in terms on communicating.

Your in a relationship and if you want it to work you need to "relate" to each other.

My outlook always his however from in all honesty being that asshole in the past is that if I am in anyway emotionally or truly want to sleep with another woman my relationship is obviously over so I end it cos it's fair and right.

I do also agree with my original post that if it's innocent and actually innocent, i.e. She's being overly jealous over a freindship and only a friendship. If she is guess what mate it's back to communicating and relating to each other again.

Once you've read this go fix your problem. One way or the other. Given what I've explain whatever happens isn't actually a bad result trust me and good luck!

this, when someone confides with someone of the opposite unless they are gay in time it'll almost always turn sexual and feelings etc will grow.

men and women can't just be friends lol
