I joined slimming world in Ayrshire last March and have lost 4 stones. It defo is a great eating plan to follow. Only advice I can give u is start going to the gym or exercising eventually and u need to tone the weight loss up lol. Everything on me started to head south. But good luck with it xxxxxx

I started going to the one at the Mitchelin Club. Run by a great guy and as a man was made to feel welcome. So far lost 2 1/2 stone in 4 months so it certainly works if you stick to the plan.

You certainly dont look like one.

Were all our own worst critics and your one of the few thats stuck in at it.

Dont be so hard on yourself.

I know I'm miles away but a fellow SWer lol. I started the first week in January and have lost 2 stone 10lbs. Definitely feeling the benefits and slowly having to replace the wardrobe

In a few weeks I plan to treat myself to new underwear, something just for me (unless I chose to share lol)

Good luck on your journey xx

Seems to be working so far. Almost a stone gone.

Can't wait for the shopping trip and to feel more comfortable in my own skin.

I've lost 3 stone still got a fair bit to go and Mr has lost just about 2 stone in a few months. I just wish I joined sooner. It's so easy and you could live on their plan

i was doing weightwatchers last year, not going to classes but just following the eating plans etc. lost a stone and a half.

then in february i had an accident and broke my leg quite badly, hospital for 2 weeks, then pretty much immobile for a few months. i lost 2 stone just sitting on my backside. strange.

I lost a stone in a half from 4 days in a coma. Not the best way to lose it though... Shame I'm back up to 11 stone

Never actually been to any of the meetings but use the recipes.

Combined with increased exercise, down a couple of stones over the last few years.

But plateaued at present.

So either need to up the exercise or be stricter on the diet

apparently if you change your exercise it helps... the body plateaus as it gets used to it, so change from running to cycling, or swimming to running etc

I've put on a stone since my last visit to slimming world in April. Went back last week & lost 6lbs my first week! Unfortunately next 6lbs will be harder....
