Overly intoxicated

It's always off putting going to a club when steaming guys come in just for fun. Surely guys extremely intoxicated shouldn't be welcome. Any other pubs or clubs refuse them entry. So when you think your in a safe and trusted environment for swimming and you tell a d*unken guy no. He doesn't understand that no means no. They keep pawing at you when your having fun. Everytime I have been at a club and saw this happen its mainly be extremely intoxicated influence. Surely there's a rule against this like there are in pubs and clubs. This has put me off. Needless to say I'll be swinging during the week when there aren't too many d*unken idiots being given access.

Please read the thread where I agreed males and females. The incident I speak of was males. There should be a policy for overly intoxicated humans of all genders

Yes eventually they get removed from the premises. But if they are struggling to stand on their own and are clearly smashed. Why are they allowed entry. Think I'll join the convent for a while haha

Management should always be informed of any behaviour that you feel is wrong.

However, I agree. If someone is obviously intoxicated for whatever reason, they should be refused entry or asked to leave.

Irrespective of their sex or age.

Why should the minority spoil it for the majority.

Because its ok if a fems intoxicated you can fire in easier......apparently.

They should just ban single males altogether it would make things so much better for the cpls in attendance. Dripping cynicism I know but there is this habit on fab of blaming single guys for everything yes alot of the time guys are guilty of inappropriate behaviour and its highlighted as much as possible. But fems behaviour is just as bad and alot of the time its excused or even excuses will be made to place it on others. Tirade over

It's management letting the d*unks in to the club in the first place, I've been there on a few occasions that this has happened and they eventually get put out but its not the point as the d*unks always ruin the evening for someone that's why I goto cjs now xx

Not at after 8

Most other clubs you need to book

I have seen (and possibly also been ) pretty d*unk women at clubs too to the point its not attractive ... i agree at that point you should be put in a cab and sent home wether you are interfering with play or not

I am going to be fair here!

I have been to both clubs and I have seen d*unk and overly d*unk males 'and' females making a nuisance of themselves in both clubs!

I have also seen things happening at CJs and they have been reported to Management and management has dealt with it in the appropriate manner at the time.

It didn't make forum news... But..those things did happen.

Personally I don't drink when I go to Clubs so that if I am unhappy about something I can take myself out of a situation pronto!

If you are new to Clubs, by all means, have a look at the feedback but the best way is to go, go with the flow and make your own mind up!

My opinion anyway!

D*unkenness is never attractive.

I've worked in hospitality on occasion and need to point out it is illegal to sell more alcohol to a person suspected of being intoxicated.

The staff at said establishment should refuse entry but i guess £signs are in evidence.

Booking in advance is much more sensible but people can still be arsed after a few sherbets

We were confronted by a d*unk female regular at cjs who wanted to know who we thought we were for not getting involved and were we too good for the place. That and some other ' incidents' really put us off ever going to a club again which is a shame because most people on here speak highly of it. So yes females can be just as bad

Overly d*unk people have to be the biggest turn off ever! But don't think anyone should put any club on a pedastil as not having d*unk people....every club has them.

It should be zero tolerance but it's a very hardy thing to control on entry as there are those who can act more sober than they actually are.

I always assumed that people attended the clubs a bit more sobre than they would the usual haunts in the town, as they'd be trying to impress, socialise with potential partners.

Didn't realise the scourge of intoxication was welcomed.

And that is the big difference. Suppose Glasgow being a bigger venue you don't notice as much as Edinburgh. Ruined my night and put me off. And as overly intoxicated males where put out more were let in.

I have no issues with people having a drink but these lads couldn't even stand up. An were granted entry. Killed my voyeurism never mind playing

Problem is After 8 is close to The Corn Exchange and other pubs. Was there near Christmas one year and several guys came in while they waited on taxis and they were already d*unk.

Cj's is on its own so less likely of people dropping in.

She also turns away anyone who tries to drop in ... i was there one night and a guy asked a taxi driver to take him "somewhere he could have a good time" apparently and the driver dropped him at cjs ... caroline phoned him another cab sent him away and said to come back some other time when he had actually had the sense to book in

Going to a club is something we have talked about and we have been building up the courage to book and go as soon as we have a free weekend, but can honestly say this has thread has really put us off. Lots of couples and singles speak soon highly of cj's etc but from some of the stories on here it we would maybe be open to situations we would rather avoid.

I can honestly tell you I have been to cjs many many times and highly recommended it. The best night for you to go if you want to try is a couples and single fems nights. Cjs and her staff are great. The reason we prefer to couples night is there is no single guys and to be honest we do sometimes attend fun4all nights single guys usually walk about a little lost not knowing what to do.

Any time any one has got a little d*unk they have been dealt with. So I would absolutely not let this post put you off in any way. After 8 I can't comment on

That's the problem with those threads!

Unfortunately!

Some have their favourite, some will use every occasion to criticise this club or that club on threads like this!

I have been to both clubs! And on my own! As a single female! And sober!

Yes I have seen things going on in both clubs!

Will I continue to go to clubs? Yes!

I have had fun in both clubs!

And yes! I have my favourite!

Has to be said... I have never felt unsafe in either clubs!

Every night has a different crowd! Not one night is the same!

Yes! You get crappy nights... in both Clubs!

Go and make your own mind up!

You're not liking the ambiance, crowds etc... You can leave!

Don't let this thread put you off. For every bad experience I've heard of at a club I've heard 100 good experiences. We've never been to after 8 only infusions and cjs but in both there was private rooms with lockable doors so you can invite in who you like.

We've never encountered any problems and would highly recommend trying a club.

It's a bit unfair to blame staff it's like everything else where there is crowds, there has to be some sort of self policing. If we seen someone being harassed we would ask that they are ok and I think most people we have met would do the same.

It's like trip advisor. I don't read that when I book a hotel because one persons experience is different from another's lol

It is best to make ur own mind up about a club as no two clubs are the same as they are all different in their own unique way, everytime u goto a club the evenings have different people, different atmospheres and what we look for in one club might not happen in another as it's all down to our own personal reasons and choices as to why we r there xx

The majority of guests who attend Cjs are fine but it is a shame that there has been a few that we have asked to leave.

I personally would not want a d*unk slobbering all over me trying to get me into a playroom (male or female) so why should our guests.

I can understand some guests have a bit too much on there first visit for dutch courage but on those occasions they have been asked to leave and come back another time without drinking so much. We are not trying to spoil anyones fun but swinging when intoxicated is not fun for anyone involved and I would not feel comfortable thinking they could be taken advantage of in that state either.

Come along try it, have a few drinks but know your limits. HAPPY SWINGING. Cj xx

Sometimes people forget how much they are actually drinking at times with Dutch courage, it's an easy mistake but easily solved the next time they go

I've been sober the last few times and actually enjoyed it a lot more than having a drink, we all like to enjoy ourself which is fair enough but not to the point of being d*unk. Thankfully as you say those folk who are blind d*unk are politely asked to leave and come back another time when not so d*unk
