Personal faves include Aberlour A'bunadh for winter evenings spent round the fire. Very rich and strong. Liquid christmas pudding. As is the Auchentoshan Three Wood.

For ridiculous amounts of money, the Glengassaugh 40y.o. is an orgasm in a glass

Big fan of Aberlour. Got a cask strength one for special occasions but the 10yr old will also be my go to dram

Go a bottle of Bunnahabhain 18 year old from a relative for a recent big birthday. Not opened it yet but I'm told it's very nice.

I get my love of single malt from my dad, couldn't drink a lot of it but one after a nice meal is fantastic.

Highland Park 12 year old

Glenlivit founders reserve

And some of the Taliskers

I could go on lol

My ex worked at Glenglassaugh and got presented with a few celebrational bottles for the opening. When I kicked his cheating ass out I poured them down the sink not realising what they were worth felt good at the time

spoiled for choice here in the spey region

Ill bet if you went to a tasting night you would find one you love.

I tend to stick to island malts, Ive still to find a Spey or Higland malt that I really like.

Suppose the next question is, how do you like to drink your whisky?

Neat?

On the rocks?

Dash of water?

Mixed up with a mixer?

Most work well for me with a wee splash of water to loosen them up, particularly the cask strength ones which are far too strong just on their own.

We have many years ago it was all we had in the house.

Mrs couldn't drink it thankfully as we found out the next morning she was pregnant with our oldest kid.
