full of numpties

This has probably been talked about a gazillion times so apologies firstly if it has ..... most of us girls especially if we've had children have mummy tummys but truthfully how do men feel about stretch marks that more often than not come with the mummy tum ? ...... I really hate mine and it puts me off meeting a lot of the time as I think " he will take one look at these and go arrrgggh" especially when there are so many gorgeous non mummy tummed ladies on fab ..... I know it probably sounds shallow but I'm really curious to know what guys think x

They're no stretch marks they're tiger stripes that have been earned I have some myself and personally like them.

You have got a great body and should embrace it. I personally find natural and curvy women very attractive.

Here's a load of random things I think are relevant.

The important thing is how you feel about them. I know you say you hate them, but have you spoken to your GP about them? Extreme ones can be treated with certain products and medication.

If you're happy with your body, then stuff what other's think.

If people can't look past something that may or may not be wrong with your body, then you have to ask if they're really worth being with?

It's early, but I hope that made sense.

It's never put me off nor Belle. You have hot pictures on here. But you are worried what will be said about your tummy when you meet. Just make sure guys see your tum in pictures beforehand then for your sake you know they know. Although most guys ain't bothered.

I used to worry about mine, most guys don't worry. I no longer care as although I wobble, I am body confident. My tum has stretch marks but, I am here, alive and having fun.

We are our own worst critics.

I'm not going to be authoritative for all men but I, personally, don't find a mummy tummy or stretch marks off-putting at all. Just one of life's sexy variations. I may not be sure but I do think it is the same for the majority of us too.

It sounds like it's affecting your confidence. Perhaps you could help that by having some of us men appreciate your body . From where I sit it looks well worth appreciating.

And I'm only half joking about that: it looks like it worked for _eavenscentit and I have no doubt for many others too.

I'm lucky enough not to have any ...but...

Dosnt mean I don't have other insecurities

Very very few men and women cant honestly say they love all their bodies.

You can't change what you have ..so flaunt what you have and be proud to have them

Millions of women would love the chance to have those well earned marks but can't

Stretch marks are part of life there's not much that can be done about it and like you say most women have them.

We all miss our youthful looks, I for example have the mental self image of myself when I was 24 and have stared at the mirror trying to figure out what went wrong.

I doubt most guys would turn you or anyone else down over it and if they did they would probably turn out to be such a vain sod that it would be a lucky escape. We all have our imperfections it's just part of life so try not worry to much about it.

I haven't had kids but I do have a spare tyre instead of a tummy! I used to be paranoid about it, and sometimes still am, but I remind myself that 5yrs ago I was 6st heavier and while I still have a long way to go I'm a lot happier with my body now than I was then.

In my experience on here, guys don't really care. If they click with you and you with them, things like that are trivial and not even thought about

I have mummy tummy,mummy bum, mummy boobs, mummy bags under my eyes and mummy brain the joys of motherhood. If others have issues with it then that is their hang up. You are who you are make the most of it

You are not airbrushed, photoshopped or filtered in real life, and you have no idea what others have had done, to their pics, or their bodies. Don't compare yourself to others, and appreciate what others think of you more. I am no Adonis, but I have to work with what mother nature landed me with, and make the most of it.

Knowing that I am well out of your age range, I can honestly say, without any ulterior motive, that you look beautiful in your photos, and anyone who can't see the woman behind the imperfections that we all have, they're not worth your attention.

I have to say we are our own worst critics and never see what everyone else sees in us and to be honest if your a beautiful person on the inside this will always make you beautiful on the outside no matter what you think your imperfections are and I will say this you do look amazing in your pictures but you seem a really nice person on the inside which goes along way x

I recently met with a yummy mummy with a mummy tummy, she wasn't plussed by her bodily changes since having her son, so why should I be.

I'm not there to play with her tummy, her mind and other parts of her body yes, so her tummy has no bearing on it for me. She is sexy to me, with or without her stretch marks, I didn't even notice them.

Don't be silly no ones perfect it's our imperfections that make us unique and interesting. Yummy tummy and Gilf vag are just as beautiful in there own way as everyone else.

The big concern I have is not so much your mummy tummy, but your attitude to bisexuality in your profile!!

I always have my tummy covered when I meet someone or go to clubs. It just makes me self conscious and I can't relax.

Only a few have seen what's underneath but these are people I've grown to know over time.

Maybe one day I'll wear my life map with pride lol

I have amummy tummy and stretch marks and I'm not a small girl either but hey if anyone doesn't like it then that's their issue not mine.......

I wasn't always this confident but realising that I was attractive that men weren't bothered about my wobbly bits and actually if I relaxed and was confident it's actually a rather attractive feature has made me continue to stay that way ........

And as some others have said it can be an excuse to buy lots of sexy lingerie to show off my best bits!

That's a good compromise if you do feel a bit self conscious or join the stark naked approach even in my 20s I was comfortable being naked as I have the view that once you are naked in bed with a guy they couldn't give a toss about marks and wobbly bits

I read a really good quote which has stayed with me

I don't have stretch marks but I'm paranoid about my muffin top at times. Nobody has ever said to me "er no thanks love get your kit back on" so I guess it can't be all that bad.

The point is most people have got something they feel a bit self conscious about,probably the people you're meeting have too.

I love mummy tummies. The stretch marks should be worn with pride, and there's something lovely about the softness of the skin on a mum-tum - the best comparison I can think of is it's like a freshly risen loaf before it goes in the oven - so soft and delicate!

The big concern I have is not so much your mummy tummy, but your attitude to bisexuality in your profile!!

I think its a bit much to attack someone verbally for what is written on there profile. As far as I'm led to believe we have the freedom of speech and right to state our like's and dislikes I'm not defending anyone, but I'm sure there is stuff written on everyone's profile that someone might not like, think it's a bit out of order to attack them on a forum about it instead of pm them if you have a problem this forum wasn't started to attack anyone just my opinion

I disagree. That's not what your profile says. I agree that hiding one's sexuality can be problematic, however the way you've worded your profile might be part of the problem rather than the solution. A lot of anti-bi sentiment lingers here just like in wider society, and that causes people to go covert (some more effectively than others, clearly).

And no, the original post didn't invite a critique, but the nature of the topic encourages curiosity and a peek at the profile, which is where my concern arose.

I can tell you from my view, that a mummy tummy as you call it is far from ugly. I rarely take notice of things such as stretch marks i get them under my bum as my leggs from training to much in a short space of time grow to fast. But you worry far to much of what others see in youreself as someone said before we are our own worse critics and its true what you see is far diffrent to what everyone else sees. I like a mummy tummy it makes no difference to me
