"the way I understand is if you modify your car and don't tell the insurance company in the event of a crash, this nullifies your insurance on the car! " I had insurance company in a turmoil, had a bump and wing and windscreen were damaged, insurance repaired it,renewal time came for my new policy, question asked was is the car modified in any way? i replied yes its fitted with some non standard parts, they were loading my insurance by nearly 200 quid untill i told them it was them that authorised the fitting of non franchise parts, ended up with me paying 300 less than the quote. so remember when you tell them you have fitted alloys to your car, remind them that they fit non standard parts too. its fun. | |||
