Edinburgh's Vintage Clothing Weigh & Pay on the 25th Feb.

Anyone knows about it? been before or has attended a similar event?

Would be interested in feedback, to know if it is worth going for a wee look.

Merci

When I lived in london I was often in a little shop in carnaby street that did this got some bargains. Dont think it would work now as the prices folk want for vintage is crazy.

Indeed. Hence why am looking for feedback. They say 1kg=£15

1998 carnaby street was £1:50 a pound so around £3 a kg 15 seems very pricey especially when you take into account the good stuff has weight and it is second hand. For authenticity though proper vintage rocks

I'd be interested in any feedback too, when I was younger (oh god that's my mother coming out in me) vintage = cheap now it's quite the opposite x

Somewhere over there

I second Mr Ben but also starry, starry night down Ruthven lane.

There's other vintage shops dotted round Glasgow, but prefer them than doing it the weight thing.

My son did it a few times, but yeah, you need to be aware of what you're buying or it could get expensive quickly
