Fab In the papers

Why do they have to make swinging seem seedy in the news papers. I get that the young guy is missing and he was on this site but he met his current partner on another site and dating site of which isn't mentioned. So they'll publicly humiliate this one ! Why? Aw aye cuz it's the worst paper and articles are probably written by a 12 year old.

It's not fair for the poor lad or his gf.

But I think We should have an heir of superiority about us.

Whether we like it or not, we live in a sexually conservative world. The tabloids write about this because your average punter isn't brave enough. Not because they are disgusted or outraged. They are turned on

I came across my fathers profile on adult friend finder once.

I assure that was not a pleasant experience. But we are what we are and attraction to our desires come from the chemicals in our brains. As long as it's legal and doesn't harm others why should it matter what we do x

Not once did the article I read in the daily record say a bad word regarding swinging.

Also by mentioning the site might make someone come forward with information regarding his whereabouts.

Hope they find him safe and well.

Anyway fuck the haters swinging is awesome

Agree with all of your comments!they did not paint it in a bad light, brief factual mention of it, more important to family he is found x

However I would be mortified if my family found out :/

They don't need to paint it in a bad light it's still frowned upon my grandparents think it's in the same line as pedophiles. That's just the perception of others.

Listen closely to the vanilla chit chat about it.. you'll soon see. Especially 70+ age groups. I find it mildly amusing the perspective of other people

Let others judge.

Brave of his gf to admit it, the most important thing is the search for this missing guy so the police need to follow every lead.

Haters gonna hate, there are still so many misconceptions and judgements about this lifestyle

I hope they find him safe

I know some of corries family and reading the article pissed me off but in all fairness the daily mail didn't say anything negative about the site.

What pissed me off is that unless they're using the site to follow a positive line of enquiry then there's 100% no need to mention that aspect of his life - they've just done it because people will go "oooooh" and "ahhhhh" as swinging isn't the norm to most people/isn't something they'd hear about in their day to day lives.

That being said I 100% agree that if it's found the last thing he was doing was meeting someone off here (which I'm not saying it was) then the newspaper article might prompt them to talk to the police if he's mentioned anything to them that may have caused concern.

His mums known about his involvement in the site since early on and has had access to all his dating profiles etc so it's not like it's something seedy that they didn't know about, to me she's been really good about the whole thing in coming out and saying that he's a young lad and liked to enjoy himself which is why he was on the site

Hope his family are doing as well as they can

It's such a stigma around the word swinging. Particularly young people (I hate to sound like I'm generalising!) have so much access to sex. How different is using this site to the way some people use Facebook, snapchat etc.

I mean freshers week has had a reputation for as long as time for being a promiscuous time for some... 18-30s etc etc... most people enjoy and are curious about sex

I lived on that base for seven years, the lad wasn't in the same squadron as I was but we have friends incommon.

I just hope to God he isn't listed on here as anything other than straight. Not because I'm a homophobe or an arsehole but because I know that he will have became a joke within the services. It's 2017 but youl still be surprised at the stigma present.

Hope the lad is found, for his families sake if not for his own. It's a very story which is made even worse that a site like this is one of the only reasons that anyone is taking any notice of his disappearance.

I've already seen someone on another thread say they only realised they had him on kik because of the daily mail article.

That's really all it takes - someone could realise they've spoke to him before and he might have said something which could help with finding out what happened.

I may be biased because I know his family but at this stage any publicity or anything that might give someone a nudge to come forward is worth a try.

For people who are concerned about their privacy due to the site being in the papers - put your face pics to private, a young man's life is more important than not being able to show your face in public pics

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story is the type of journolism that is peddled in this country.

They dont care who they name and shame as long as it front page and sells the paper.

How many times have they got it wrong about people but you never see a front page apology do you?

Scum fuck wanky fuckwit journos I would not wipe my arse on your pages the only use for news papers is putting chips in or drawing the fire.

To all reporters go fuck yourselves you self righteous arsehole twats and let folk live there lives as they choose as long as it legal and consentual as you are not fit to judge anyone...........and breathe

I don't waste money on newspapers for the very reason, most only appeal to the scandal-mongers and low-life, as for mentioning this missing lad, in the press I reckon its disgusting, because when he was on here, he was not doing anything illegal, it just has too cater for the moral majority, who sit on their everso high horses!!

Corries family on both sides (his mum and dad are split up) are 100% fine with gay, bi people etc.

Unfortunately his mum and any of his mates would admit he does jump into things without thinking so it's possible he's been messaging someone on a dating app and agreed randomly to meet them and somethings happened

There's a massive search today that's been set up by his mums family so hopefully it can bring some answers
