tbh in 14 driving trucks I've only ever needed assistance twice and that's only because I had to stop because someone else jacknifed

Took me 11 hours to get home from Edinburgh a few years ago

8 hours on M8 at hearthill

Trucks couldn't make it up the hill and were lying all over the motorway

In 20 years of driving lorries I've only had a problem in snow once.....because some idiot left their van on a back road blocking it and I had to get towed backwards as I lost traction.

But apart from that, I'm with DLT. Love driving lorries in it but miss my big 8 wheeler
