Why is it when face to face with someone i can rattle off topic after topic but on here when i recieve a chat my friggin brain goes to sleep .

That's strange, as its normally the other way round, easy to chat in here as you have more time to spend thinking, as when face to face, you have to think fast, but hope you manage to work it out pal.

Agree, very hard to chat on here. Usually because the other person replies with only a few words , or worse "lol x"

In person they actually have to talk, or fcuk off

Im the same. What i hate is trying to make opening messages on here not "one liners" when you dont know anything about them.

Just say a bit about yourself with maybe a general non specific question on the end which invites a response.

Don't ask 20 questions though. That gives us wummin the right hump. It's like a job interview.

Yes I'm same.. Out and about no problem at all but on here the brief replies and a lot of profiles give you hardly anything to go on.. ! :-/..

Had a meet the day and chatting like a budgie soon as i met her ,thats not a problem,but min an back on here it goes to pot

I'm the sane mate. I can chat away face to face no problem but online I just can't think of much to say.

I think it's down to when you are with so.eone in person body language and facial expressions play a big part in the flow of conversation where as online we dont have that luxury.

Also because chat online is written word it takes a bit more thinking.
