You could go in your gym jams spose but to WHAT one

On a more serious note lot's of people seem to like PURE gym but I have a relative that is a very well qualified Fitness Instructor and is horrified at Pure Gyms lack of supervision... not sure if that helps or not OP

Completely agree with him I know a lot of fitness instructors have training in fitness and health and safety it's terrible to see the lack of supervision in there I can't say anything really I am one to push myself to the limits but would like a gym that has supervision so I have a support and stuff when I do haha

Am gonna be totally useless here

But hey ho!

You look pretty good to me from doing home/outdoor workouts!

Keep your cash and may be try to diversify your workouts to cut your routine. Or even had a swimming session in depending on what you want to achieve.

Have fun OP.

Cool

For your tendons you can eat plenty omega oils. Stretching... Massaging areas also help arnica/vitamin E etc... The Elastic exercises are also good.

I've just torn my knee ligaments so maybe not

I am an ex boxer/martial artist and I do not frequent faddy poser gyms that charge an arm and a leg.

I cannot run due to dodgy knees so swim instead, I am lucky there is woodland near to where I live and I use sturdy branches to do chin ups or hang upside down and do sit ups

I watch what I eat counting calories going in and make sure I burn more with my own regular routine

For stretching I practice Tai Chi and Quiqong

I have done Mauy Thai and boxing before aswell as a few bjj classes but I was always better and my climbing and street gymnastics so I done a lot of stretches and as far as food and intake of meals I stopped watching as during my activities and workouts I was burning more than I was eating haha

Kinetic workouts, resistance bands and heavy ropes training are good.

I run, am now at 20k per week and do low level core exercises. Not much but I am back from 2 years being unwell. A little is better than not at all.

You should look up tapping! Fantastic technique. I have arthritis in one knee and tapping has helped with the pain but also has kept me on my feet able to run. I have upped my miles too! And no pain after my runs

Tapping is that no when you borrow money off someone

LOL

I am a Reiki Sekhem Master and find this helps but will look into tapping

The knee dislocates frequently however this time it appears the ligaments have torn

I use Xercise4Less in East Kilbride, only a tenner a month and it's got everything I need, I'm really into HIIT training now so plenty of cardio there to keep me going.

Gutted I can't get to the gym this week - too busy with my grandad in hospital, and giving my damaged elbow a rest.

Back on it next week though, and back on slimming world

Gym is an integral part of my life.

I love my food so if I didn't go I would pile on the kilos. I still need to lose another 5 kilos!

Not sure if you'd be willing to use a city centre gym but the sports direct one is fantastic, plenty of classes and weights room and it's one of the few city centre gyms that has a swimming pool and sauna

It's behind central at the radisson
