Belfast

Loving living in Ireland but also love heading home to see the family. Always great being back in Scotland. But it's a long journey on the old sail & rail with lots of changes along the way. Belfast to Cairnryan, Cairnryan to Ayr, Ayr to Glasgow, Glasgow to Edinburgh, Edinburgh to Dundee.

It's a fun journey but if anyone wants to have a drink & say hello along the way it would be lovely to meet new people.

Couldn't you just get a flight? Would probably be cheaper

Angus & Findhorn

Glasgow to Dundee would be easier and quicker

Flight's too quick. I enjoy the train, I'm able to get out at every stop & revisit old haunts. Also lovely travelling overland seeing the country, some stunning _iews.

near Glasgow

The connecting bus from Cairnryan to Glasgow Buchanan Street, then bus, or train to Dundee from round the corner in Queen Street.

It's great to be out & about. Having the occasional drink at each stop helps the journey in smoothly.
