To balance the seriousness - what's your favourite Seasonal Sillines... I love all the Christmas songs and yes I once worked in retail and I know you here it all day every day... I still love it - Fairytale of New York is my favourite but Slade's Merry Christmas Everbody might be equal first...Oh and twinkly lights... you CANNOT have enough twinkly lights

Again no fighting if ya dinna like someone else's silliness - cos... IT'S SILLY !!!!

I absolutely adore Christmas porn... Strange I know but every year one of my oldest friends dresses in a new elf costume and sends me selfies.

I like putting up my nativity set. With the wisemen, camels the lot lol. Used to do it as a kid with my mum and still do it now!

And baby Jesus is only allowed in the barn after midnight, never before lol

Glasgow

I love seeing smiling faces, couples walking hand in hand, weighed down with newly bought presents. Kids skipping along in the snow, Carol singers on nearly every street corner, fluffy snowballs flying, Xmas lights twinkling, strangers wishing each other a merry Christmas . .all out of some year's gone by Christmas movie . . THEN I go to Glasgow, pishing with rain usually, too many people pushing their way past you, pushchair wheels over your new shoes, the odd waster on the corner with his plastic cup in one hand and a new iPhone in the other!

A d*unken argument on one street, a couple having a domestic outside Central Station . . . ah bliss eh. . . and it hasn't even started yet. Still a good few shopping days to go!
