Didn't want to hijack the other thread about footy pics.

Looks like they are a few fishing lovers on Fab.

I would love a deep sea fishing trip.

I love my fly fishing but would live to try that too and a day pike fishing

I love my fly fishing but would live to try that too and a day pike fishing "

I have never tried fly fishing. It looks very technical. I would end up tied up in the middle of the water lol

Nothing beats a nice day out on a boat on a loch reservior or fishery .just you and a fly rod ...soo relaxing ..can just switch off from everyday life

I gave it up for years ...then took it back up recently ..the day after my first outing i couldnt move my arms lol using muscles id forgot i had lol

And to be honest, I have never seen a fly fishing rod close enough to work out how they actually work

An exs uncle had a boat me and a few guys went out I had a great time and some weird fish lurk at depth.......like many that day you may not like the motion a small boat generates lots of green gils

Used to make flies. Was very rewarding and therapeutic. Strange thing was I didn't actually fly fishing lol

Caribbean was another place I wanted to try! Around the carribean and south East of America holds a lot of big fish and loads of variety too!

I have origins in this area and yeah the whole coast is brilliant I hear for fishing.

He's going to have a great time

You can charter a boat out of Drummore. It's great, even if you're not an angler. Your skipper will keep you right.

You can catch all sorts.

I enjoy Pollack fishing as it needs a bit more skill I think.

Wouldn't discount mackerel too quickly! Can offer a good bit of sport in large numbers on cheap tackle and just about anywhere in the country!

Id love to get into fishing.. Have been mostly abroad in oz etc out at sea.. Must be a very relaxing pastime on the rivers too.. Take the bbq and cook it up when your done!

Brilliant fun!

I reeled a sailfish in after over an hour of fighting at the age of 13, tipped the scales at around 47kg definitely more than I weighed at the time haha
