... affect human behaviour??

Does the various phases of the Moon affect you? And how?

I was debating about this with a friend earlier this afternoon.

I'm not convinced about lunar influence. You only have to look at this place any day of the month to see it's always mental.

I know it affects my kids.

Whenever there's a full moon they go crazy and behave in a far naughtier fashion than normal.

That said do do I

It does had a friend who was injured in the falklands (head injury) that dependant on the moons placement effected his equilibrium. The closer the moon the more incapacitated he was

Personally, it is my sleep that get erratic.

Many moons ago, my mum used to work on a psychiatric ward and she always said it was always a more demanding/difficult shift around full moon periods.

The word Lunatic comes from the Latin Luna and the belief that the Moon caused temporary insanity. Lots of people in all three of the emergency services as well as the care industry will tell you it does affect human behaviour. It is certainly true that many animal behaviours tie into it, even those that cannot see it such as deep sea creatures. A simple undeniable physical action of the Moon is of course the tides and if it wasn't for the physical presence of the Moon we would be nearer the Sun and life as we know it on Earth would therefore not be possible. However my wee Petit Pois... on a personal note yes I can feel a difference at certain times... but then you already know I'm a "Loony" CxXx

Be ye afflicted by the Bloodmoon? Have ye the desire to butcher folk with a cleaver at that time of year?

Do ye look like Kathy Bates?

I have enjoyed the show within a show within a show aspect, and it has had some chilling moments, but some of the cast have been underused.

Kattegat

I've heard of people who say they are affected by the moon, or maybe its just mood swings.

As for the supermoon a couple of nights ago, I couldn't help but stare at the sky and enjoy the view of it shining down for a period of time and enjoy its beauty, and think if we were moving into a new era of life.

That's the theory - the world is a place of turmoil at the moment though some might say it's birthing pains of a new age... here's hoping

I hate the morning after full moon. I wake up in middle of parks or alleys with cuts on my hands and face with sore teeth surrounded by dead cats
