For every Brit in Poland there are roughly 20 Poles here. So yes, they are here alright.

Maybe they don't let the ugly ones out. They figure we've got enough of our own!

I don't like polish people, they are mostly rude, cold people.

Today in fife, I witnessed Polish people no paying proper respect during the commemoration 2 minute silence.

That might be more a cultural thing, rather than a lack of respect.

I agree with MQ may be they did not realise what it was going on, as today is the 13th November.

And I would add that just because a few are rude and ignorant you can't generalise! Few rude French (actually a lot lol) and Scottish too about!

And are you sure they were Polish? or you just heard the foreign accent and labelled them ?

Personally, I take everyone as an individual, not a nation, nor ethnic group.

(I don't like French people, or Edinburghers, in general, but Max is ok, I suppose... )

You can tell just by looking at them. They have a Slavic look with greyish skin.

Geez... i would have to move country if i was thinking like you!

Met a few Scottish idiots in my life but no way will I make a generalisation!

And a few French ones, American ones, etc...!

People are individuals. With their own mind, personality, attitude, backgrounds, issues etc!

Personally I do not represent all French Caribbean on the planet!

That's my opinion anyway

Hence why they are different cultures!

different climate, different history, different economy and social issues!

And add human nature to that!

And add an individual personal background and issues.

That gives you 'an individual' that you might or might not get along with!

I have the luck of being of 3 different cultures and have embraced the Scottish one now for 20 years. So that's 4.

I am an individual that do not represent my other French people!

There's no one like me (i hope)

And no one like you.

What people think of Scottish people dont rest on your shoulders! You will be glad to know

I've found the polish people who I've spoke to, as pleasent. I pick up a polish woman from time to time (taxi) and she's fucking hilarious as well as no bad looking. According to them, Scottish guy's don't approach them and they don't know why.

I've had Poles tell me that Britain never did enough for them and tell me that they never treated my people badly. Paraphrased: We never murdered you quite as much as the Germans.

Britain went to war in 1939 over Poland. In 1945, she sold her down the river to Stalin and the USSR. I'm sure they are grateful to us for that. (SARCASM).

If you are actually interested in making anything other than petty racist and nationalist points, read the history of the poles in the Battle of Britain . You might actually sound like you know what you are talking about.
