I'm a fan of all rock but mostly go to see lesser known bands in Glasgow/Edinburgh/Carlisle.

I'd call myself a rock chick but think I might be getting too old for the title. Long hair and tatts all the way!

Huge rock/metal fan here! Queens of the Stoneage being a favourite but equally at home listening to a bit of Slipknot/Pantera/American Head Charge. People are often surprised by what I listen to as I don't "look" like I'd listen to this kind of music!!

Myself and another flabbergasted were trying to arrange a social but we were struggling to get a date that suited everyone as a lot of people are really busy between now and Christmas.

Saying that I'd deffo still be up for arranging one in the new year if there's still a lot of interest?

I was always into rock. Had long hair as a teen.

My early days were filled with bon jovi, the early stuff was good, 7800 degrees. Then progressed to Iron Maiden, Anthrax, helloween, Sinner, some real shite and some good stuff.

Was hooked by Nirvana after watching the live performance on The Word. Still have rock on my mobile. Faith no more are fantastic, also have sepultura and napalm death in my play list haha....

I think early next year would be best

From the feedback the last time we tried to organise most people couldn't go as they had too much on/couldn't afford it in the run up to Christmas which makes perfect sense!

Since there's clearly a fair bit of interest I'll put another post up end of december/start of new year and get dates etc.

Is everyone okay with that? :

I used to all types of rock/metal/thrash in the mid to late 80s and still listen to a lot of it now.

I used to go to the mosh pit at the venue in Edinburgh quite a lot on a sunday night,I miss those days sometimes

I've been listening to Headless Children and Crimson Idol a fair bit recently, properly rediscovering them. Saw them at the barras in 92, I was one of the very few there.
