That’s a bit harsh, however you do have to question why he’s the most hated manager in football history, sectarianism used to be far worse than it is now and managers never got that kinda hassle, at a guess it’s all the conspiracies and the everyone’s against us attitude, any neutral can see Celtic get their fair share of dodgy decisions by officials, but they only speak out when they’re going against them. Personally speaking if they would just have got on with things on the pitch where football is supposed to be played they would have had the league wrapped up two months ago, after all their main rivals have a poor squad and up until a week ago were on the verge of bankruptcy. Neil Lennon was a great player, that’s the kind of thing you like to see on the park, sadly though he’s no Billy McNeil or Martin O’Neill, a good manger needs to be able to control himself when required, and Neil is sadly lacking in that department, which isn’t a bad thing really but it is when it’s always someone else’s fault. | |||
