When you have a picture verification and a meet verification, however the fem who wants to maybe meet (socially) wants to see the verification but you cant cause the person who verified you left the site and you get the reply, "thems the rules"

Really! ... cracks me up.

I mean wtf do people think is gonna happen on a public social meet?

Or, like me, the account who verified has left the site and deleted the account.

However my question at the end still stands, what do ppl think will happen in a public social meet...?

If I hid mine, I personally wouldnt show mine just cos someone asked, to be blunt it's nowt to do with them..and people hide them for all different reasons and their choice, but don't think it makes them fake or not genuine

I kinda find it funny, given the slagging I have had on the other thread about stranger danger when meeting folk on the internet, that I am being slagged here for having some personal rules about who I meet.

For me, even someone who appears totally great like the op (well, until this thread obvs) needs to have a visible veri so I can make my own personal decision about the authenticity of that veri.

It's a personal thing but it's all about the risk assessment at the end of the day. If I can't check out that the profile you have been veri'd by looks genuine then it's not worth the risk.

Personally I don't vary what I ask for from folk based on the time of the month. That would just be silly.

I am happy to say I have never had a problem with it and all the folk I have met from here have been perfectly lovely.

Absolutely for yours and the op's right not to show veris. I don't think any less of any of you for it.

I also reserve the right to choose not to meet folk without visible veris. It's up to them what they think of that but, if they think I'm a dick we probably wouldn't have got along anyhow, so it's no great loss!
