What's the closest person you've ever seen on the Feature ''ee who'' near you' on your mobile.

For me its quarter of a mile. Nothing closer than that.

Touching distance I've had on mine a guy was working over road in a house ...also 4 min walk appears too that's as close as it gets

I THINK... the phone app works on GPS type information... however from what others say here it still isn't that accurate... I am sneaky I use the desktop app even on my mobile so it never shows me via that... in saying that you do need to actively switch it on for it to register you... there's the odd time I do it just to be nosey...
