I've seen profiles where the woman has put her age as 42, for example, but in her description she says "I'm 47. Fab won't let me change it"

So why say you're 42 when you set up the profile then??

So why say you're 42 when you set up the profile then??

Away back in the beginning of me joining fab on a previous profile i got chatting to a lovely man. He had a pic on his profile and sent a few others. When i finally went to meet this "lovely man" a wee wizen pensioner was standing at the pub door smiling at me..... looked nothing like the 58 year old he claimed to be.

Think he had his age the wrong way round!

I have messages from guys and your chatting away ok..pic exchange time and then you see a pic of a 18/19 yr old boy staring back at you...

You then say..ehe...your not ..whatever age they say and then it's no I'm only 18/19 but nobody replies when I put my real age!!

So they get by the age range filters

Yes I know women and men lie about their ages but this is mental

I guess there's no way of knowing until you see that first pic. At least then you know whether you're going to take it further. I don't see the point in it myself, how long do they think they can keep the lie going for?

I once had a guy message me to ask if I'd message a single lady for him as he was just outside her age range. A) 6 years over her limit is not 'just outside' and B) no because she has filters for a reason so respect them!

I am 46 and am told... often... I look younger.

So, I could easily change my age

but I prefer the 'oooh you dont look 46' lol
