For me it's got to be the Torridon and Shieldaig area( especially Loch Maree) followed closely by Glencoe and Glenshee. All stunning and sum up Scotland's beauty. Picture perfect

Clachan North Kintyre I spend most weekends there. Stunning views to Islay and Jura. However we are spoiled for choice in Scotland and agree with most of the locations above.

I love the Scottish sceneries... Hence why I have been here for over 20 years!

So many places to mention, so varied sceneries. I like Oban, Dunkeld, loch lomond, Lewis, Harris to mention a few.

There are some amazing places which cannot be accessed by car, I have been lucky to find a few and they are simply breath taking

one of these is Loch Ericht, I found this place when climbing Ben Alder. there is a track that will take you the full length of the 16 mile loch (cycling, push bike only)

again no access for vehicles.

Grew up on the west coast - middle of nowhere...still hate it with a passion.

Give me Glasgow any day.

Over there

Affric, Glen For, North Cairngorms/Aviemore, Skye, Loch Awe, Royal Dee river, Spey river, Loch Sween, Black Woods of Rannoch, Glen Etive (skyfall Glen)....

Get there. Dump the car. Use feet, bike or canoe - much, much better way of seeing the place.

"Loch an Eilein is even nicer, just through the woods......"

Definitely one of my special places, although I haven't visited for a few years.

Once visited on a June evening, well into the tourist season, and there wasn't another car in the car park!!
