theme'd parties

Since returning to the scene I have noticed that more and more parties seem to have some kind of 'theme' to them, usual nurses and doctor's, Halloween etc. I am hosting a party in a couple of weeks but my friends have said that on the whole (no pun intended) they prefer parties without any themes just good old fashioned fun, I personally thought that it might help be an ice breaker but look to be out-voted, so just wondering what the general consensus is and what theme's people would like to see?

Me personally, having been to many of your parties, I dont think a theme is needed (being 1 of the 1s to out vote you). lol

Parties to me should be relaxed and fun, to me finding an outfit and getting dressed up isnt fun.

But should you go with a theme, I supose I would do it. Since your parties are FAB!

Theme'd can be as you said, a lovely ice breaker for a party, checkin out everyones nifty touch's to the thought and detail gone into the thing.

Its a conversation starter, a laugh, good fun.

Just my opinion of course.

T xx

Ah but MrT I'v e been to one of ur parties a bosses and secretary night if I remember rightly it was an amazing night of naughtiness. One of the best parties I've been to so far. Think it also depends on who u invite and getting the right mixture of swingers.

Ahh Lastminute, I was at that bosses and secretarty night, and yes it was a great night! I do agree about the ice breaker. I was thinking maybe a holywood or rock music night, but I can see how some people would get a bit stressed about the costume, maybe the secret is to get out of them as quickly as possible

Heather your welcome to bring your corn snake along with you lol

Personally I dont like things with a "theme". We arent a cpl who like to dress up so prefer it just to be a wear what you want kinda party. xx

mmm very mixed feeling, I personally prefer not to have to dress up, always feel it beomes a contest to see who has the best costume, but i can see the benefits, it definately helps break the ice and can be a good laugh, but I just think that sometimes it's not sexy, I must admit I like the little black dress idea, now where would i get one to fit?
