Current pet peeve

What's your current pet peeve?

Mine is the use of things like "ano" instead of "I know" or worse, "use" (so wrong!) instead of "you." I could even accept "you's", but use?!

I get that people used to use text speak because you only had 160 characters in a message, but what's with this kinda stuff?

I agree, text speak and colloquialisms are colourful and add nuance to a message but when it gets to the stage that there isn't a vowel in the sentence and you have to read the message at least twice to understand it then it is annoying

My annoyance for today is bad driving... e.g people who don't indicate until actually stopped at a junction, people who pull out in front of you then drive at speed minus, people who swing their noses out to the left before taking a right turn scaring the wits out you... you get the gist

You've just reminded me of something about myself that really annoys me. I have "you's" but there are some people I know who would assume if I say "you" I would only be talking to one of them. I usually try and say "you both!" But occasionally I just say "you'd" cause it's easier. Then I silently curse myself in case people who were around think that's how I talk.

"No peeves at all ! Just sending love and posativity out to all from my wee hippy commune. Peace out!! "

A couple of years ago I would have had a long list of pet peeves.

Today, I just feel life's too short to be negative. There's more important things.

(But the arsehole in the Focus all over my boot in a 30zone at school bell time will be first against the wall, come the revolution )

Kisses to all others

If I do get pissed off at anything it's only for a few min until I've vented my anger,my work is a great outlet for getting rid of any aggression very quickly!

I don't really let much get to me anyway n certainly don't sweat the small stuff...

If I was any more laid back I'd be horizontal!

You do have to laugh mind you... pet peeve of today has moved to - Indestructible Packaging.

My scissors in work fell apart so I ordered new ones... they have come in that superstrong indestructible packaging AND they are attached to it by a cable tie... which I need scissors to cut through... honestly lol

People who complain and moan about others .

Is it such a big deal if they can spell or use the correct grammar.

Its a swinging/sex site were all here for fun not for English degrees.

That's what you go to uni for.

Live and let live and have lots of fun

Agree with you mostly missus but complaining about complainers makes you one too lol. Also I don't think any of us expect Uni standard English Literature English, just legibility which is sometimes very much lacking. If we are honest then we all have our peeves. As I think you also said somewhere, we all have our opinions and are entitled to them.

By all means I'm not complaining. I just think that others should do less of it and enjoy fab for what it is.

We're here for a good time not a long time haha.

Opinions are everyone's right and are entitled to them. Would be a dull world if all thought the same way.
