XC60 for me. Audi have the stigma BMW had 20 years ago. Also over priced and over rated if you ask me.

Audi is nice....but there are none in country available. ..well new anyway...I was looking at getting one and told 3 months....so opted for kuga instead an to be fair for same money I'm getting lot more car

I like the Kuga than the Audi and Volvo ..

Kuga is getting a facelift. You can order them now but they won't be in the showroom until December

And she's in no rush. I showed her the older kuga and the edge too and she liked them both

Just to throw another one into the mix,what about the lexus rx300?

Being a hybrid it saves on road tax and fuel economy as well

The R-Design is just a trim level. You need to avoid the D4 models, go for the D5.

The xc60, went to get one a few weeks ago, only thing that put me off was top end model was lacking some standard technology which comes standard in other makes, like parking camera (yeah could pay an extra £300ish but at the cost of the top end it was daft)

Going to wait until after the new year and go look again

Renault and Ford are bringing out a nre hybrid.

They are joining the Renault Clio and the Ford Taurus together.

Its called the New Clitaurus..

They do say its a bassa too start in the mornings though ..

I am on my 3rd volvo now. Never had any reliability issues in any of them safer than a safe thing and so under rated and cheap to insure. And yes go for the t5 or d5 engines awesome!

I don't wear flat caps or t, and the only leather is the seats. I only drive at 50mph when I have to (speed limits or slow moving traffic), give me an open road and you can only dream of trying to keep up with me and my Volvo.

it starts at a reasonable price but extras such as AMG pack soon add on higher price, great motor though although I do prefer the C class saloon
