This is a guess at a possible explanation, not something I know for sure.

It feels good to give orgasms. I'm sure most men and women will agree with that statement. If you're with a woman, sometimes it's not so obvious that you have given her an orgasm. With a squirting orgasm it's easy to see that confirmation.

I think there is a mix of reasons, but one that comes to the fore is that as squirting is pretty rare/unusual, some guys fixate on it as it means (to them) that they have achieved what so few men do and are obviously superior in bed.

Any guy that promises to make me squirt is usually ignored as I do not fancy being a glove puppet whilst he tries to make it happen.

We really love making someone squirt but it isn't our sole mission. If it happens then great. If it doesn't we can still have great sex.

To us squirting is more like sprinkles on ice cream. They're great but you still have the ice cream without them.
