"sorry you don't have permission...."

Just as I would normally do when reading the forums, I was unable open a specific thread and got the message "sorry you don't have permission to view this thread". Has anyone encountered this or can anyone please explain how this is done?

Means the thread is being deleted by admin for whatever reason
