As someone that replies to every message...

I'm guilty of this

If a guy asks to meet...and I don't want to its a no thanks

But if it's just general chit chat I give 1 word answers or the old

in the hope they think feck that too much hard work

What's worse....

No reply or one word answers when the question is "Are you free tonight? I want to abuse you and leave you gagging for more" Especially when my profile states I'm not meeting or "You have to be the hottest woman on this site. I love your pics" when I have only one public pic and it's not of my face

Always nice to be nice , nothing is worse than a message being ignored or simply deleted without being read , Very rude , I always reply even if it's a not interested

Sometimes I'm rushing around and my replies come off as a bit... Aloof! But it's usually because I feel I want to reply but don't have time to put much thought into it. It's had the side effect of people thinking I am just answering by numbers

Sounds like me too. I was out with my mum so answers were brief and I got stick for it! Tend to block when people don't appreciate I have a life !

Sometimes you are damned if you do and damned if you don't! Unfortunately sometimes a few words reply is all that the question justifies. My philosophy is that it's nice to be nice but if people really do get messages that blunt I can see why the reply is equally as. X

Profiles say talk to me like you would if we met offline, well most people reply when talked to. Don't they?
