Going tonight as well you will be fine hunni its a great crowd of ppl, very friendly very relaxed and the best way to meet genuine ppl.

Nop never been to after8, been to cj's once and liked it but working earlyish on a Sunday makes it a tad far unless on hol from work... That's why sommat in fife would be ideal

Yeah you could make a small fortune if you had somewhere local to fife which was of a descent size, clean and in a discreet location to hire out for parties or gb's.

We were there on saturday night and the revamp looks brilliant well done to all involved

Our workload is currently fcuking up our nights out no end to put it politely

however we will be back as often as our workload will allow

hopefully sooner rather than later

Don't be scared it such a great and friendly environment just like a house party but bigger. There's never any pressure to play and a lot of the regulars only socialise there as its such a great atmosphere. The staff are all very approachable and Caroline, michelle and the gang make everyone feel welcome even all us who have been following her around for yrs. She keeps trying to put me off from going but I know she cares really hehehe.

I'm curious about coming along one night, but as a lone guy and a newbie I was wondering:

Should I wait for a Friday/Saturday or are the midweek nights busy too?

I wouldn't be able to stay all night - would I be missing out hugely by not staying late? Does all the fun really happen later on?

I know the easy answer is to get off my arse and come out to see for myself ... but since it's so easy to ask questions online, I might as well be nosey!

I hesitated for at least 6 months before going to cj's, and in my first night I was completely nervous...

now that I have almost become a regular, here is my advice to all the people that are hesitating just like I was: GO!

It's a great atmosphere, nice people, fantastic hostess, no pressure for playing at all, just a house party with a little extra which remains entirely voluntary.

If you are still unsure, I am sure you can arrange with some other people from Fab to meet there, and have someone to welcome you, explain you the rules and make you feel at ease.

Not to be missed!

To the people who've never been before and are asking

Like any club its a friendly safe environment with no pressure to play.

I went on my own the first time and have been many times on my own since - always feel very safe and looked after and never under any pressure.

the fun can start whenever you like - some people go upstairs as soon as they;re in the door - others wait til later but it does close around 2, Caroline does rent out rooms if you need to stay overnight. Say hi if you do come along xxxx

ps best to check the website for what nights to attend - greedy girls night maybe not best for shy unsure first timers (just my opinion tho - I jumped in with both feet lol)

Trying to talk the mrs into going on the 25th for my 30th

bot crapping ourselfs at the thought of it though.

Whats the dress code? jeans and shoes and a shirt ok for the guy?

is there quite a big bar area where you can just chill/hide in the corner?

Never been to Cj's house, one thing i will say is we have been to two now. Some people love one and dislike the other. Go and find out for yourself, sure you will have a great time once your there and start chatting to people
