"So sad to hear when a fighter succumbs to injuries within the ring. It would appear Mike was having headaches for weeks prior to the fight. This should have been picked up on by his handlers and by the fight doctor before the fight started. A talented young man gone to the big ring in the sky but could have been so easily avoided if someone had come forward about his migraines. " I think its a bit unfair to say injurys sustained in the ring the injurys started weeks before its a hazard of the sport and one that all participants know about. A boxer goes through medical examinations prior to a fight and a clerance cert is given. if a boxer chooses to be not so informative theres not much else can be done. It boils down to a tragic accident but no blame can be levelled anywhere. | |||
