Is Fab getting worse?

I used to have pretty good luck a few years back when I first signed up and had a few meets etc.

Now I can barely get a reply back these days, anyone else in the same boat as me? I'm not a pushy person and do have some morals and won't meet someone at the drop of a hat

I'd prefer a girl just to say she wasn't interested etc, rather than just ignoring my message altogether

Little bit frustrating, first time using the forum so please be gentle. Lol!

Not much sex on this island but we get by with a meet about once a month. But yes increasingly difficult to sort out meets on this site, but we've put it down to the fact that we are old ancient and antique.

I'd say yes, having recently been on end of 2 not very pleasant experiences, first one was someone I don't even know contacting people from my friends list asking creepy questions, second got a load of verbal abuse for having the "cheek" to polite reply thanks but no thanks to someone. Both reported latter has been chucked off other is being monitored but it doesn't half make you wary and then folk wonder why messages go unread and/or deleted.

We perhaps don't have as many private meets as we used to, but that is due to our availability having diminished over the past year or so. Hopefully that will improve over the next wee while.

There does seem to be an increase in fake profiles though, it's getting rather tedious.

I feel that the site has definitely diminished over the years (maybe due to me now being an old fogey).

I'm possibly partly a victim of the "single guys are gimps" attitude which prevails now and makes it difficult to break the ice with some folks.

I'm not in the slightest bitter as I've had a blast over the years I just feel that drama has taken over from where there used to be fun and entertainment.

Deffo has changed I would say. You can't even display verifications now because people message people you have met to stir trouble or they try to meet someone you have met and then during that meet they will ask that person what they thought of u or weird stalkerish questions about you. Then you have the abusive messages from people if you delete their message if not interested. Rather than message sorry not interested which I did use to do to be polite but then u get silly questions like what is it u don't like about me and so on

I've been here five years although I did take a year out. It was nice to get messages from people I'd chatted to before when I logged back on.

I think people's expectations and perception of the site have changed. Some people want sex like their coffee - instant! Seems like they don't want to invest any time in cultivating a connection.

Think when you first join fab your like a rabbit in the headlights kinda thing you get mrssages galore booting your ego and you think everyone is soo nice friendly etc but think the longer your here you change your more aware of wat you want and dont want so we pick n choose who we chat too meet etc more carfully ...so maybe its a combination of fab changing plus we change ourselves as time goes on

I think for many on fab they demand more now than way back in the day.

Fab hasnt changed at all but the people on it have .

No no one likes change as people get so set in their ways and get a little unsettled if things do change .

Just continue to be yourself op and im sure good things will happen for you xx
