I know that I have been a member for a relatively short time but I consider myself to be a person who can size up situations very quickly and make informed judgements and develop and implement necessary actions. As a female on Fab I am becoming increasingly annoyed, frustrated and quite frankly TURNED OFF by the messages WE (it does indicate we are a couple boys) receive from single men and their very apparent sexist attitude to women. It has become very apparent from reading various posts and chatting to a few women that this is not a situation unique to me.

Could a potential remedy be that Fab remains free for couples and single females but that men must pay an annual subscription of £50? Unless they do they can join the site but the only photos they can see are profile pictures, they can not wink, they most definitely can't send graphic and quite frankly alarming messages in some instances and they can not participate in Forum discussions. Also that all males sending messages there was a function to forward abusive messages to Admin for their immediate attention.

That's a good idea but there would need to be some implementation towards woman aswell with regards to forwarding abusive messages etc

The simple answer is block single guys and for you to initiate first contact with guys that take your fancy ..as soon as you contact them the block for them instantly lifts

The majority already pay £60 a year ,why should they be treated differently because they are single men .They have the same right to be here as the rest of us.The block bottom is great as are filters.

Sorry but you can't generalise every bloke the same. I've been on here for over 4 years and to my knowkesge never offended anyone and been blocked. Like has been mentioned some couples and females are just as bad so where do we draw the line?

I appreciate you want to see single males but my genuine advice would be block us all and you message who catches your eye and if they turn out to be wrong you can delete and forget

Whilst I understand your angst, as others have said, there are already functions built into the site and a lot of us already pay for membership too.

All I would say is use the report button for any abusive messages, maybe alter your filters a bit to deal with unnecesary messages and speak to admin if it continues.

Just remember this too.....for every 100 bad ones, a good one will stand out a mile

yes great plan ostracise males make them leave then all the more single fems for the entirely diffrent breed......the male half of a couple lol. The functions are there if you recieve things or behaviours you believe are against the rules report the user fill in the box the reason why

Simple, use your filters to block ALL guys, and then you can contact those you fancy.

there are some not so nice couples and ladies on here too let's not pretend all ladies and couples are the perfect members to have on the site.

I think we need to remember that the orIguana message was made out of sheer frustration.

I have a friend on here who told me she has 1300 plus unread messages that are variations of "fancy a fuck!"

How demoralising must that be? I constantly get messages from straight guys who have seen I am a straight guy and just assume I was a blowjob from them... Because if they're "straight" I must be "straight" too. And it's a fraction of the rubbish a lot of the women and couples get on here.

It's a shame that some people just hit the block gender button because there are genuinely nice guys out there and if there are any who don't frequent the forums then they are just missing out.

It's also very frustrating seeing someone on here you like and sending a message, knowing they're going to get lost in the multitude of messages the receiver already has, been treated with the same contempt as "fancy a fuck" or, in an attempt to not just be one dimensional, has become just too damn long for someone to appreciate having read through 2,000 messages of "ma baws need emptied!"

I see people on her all the time that I think "Oooh!" And go to message and my gender is blocked, or it remains unread, or just gets deleted.

Granted the ones that get deleted are probably on account of me being really uninteresting

I think that's one of the reasons I prefer the forums - I get to know people better on here.

As a female on Fab I am becoming increasingly annoyed, frustrated and quite frankly TURNED OFF by the messages WE (it does indicate we are a couple boys) receive from single men and their very apparent sexist attitude to women. It has become very apparent from reading various posts and chatting to a few women that this is not a situation unique to me.

Could a potential remedy be that Fab remains free for couples and single females but that men must pay an annual subscription of £50? Unless they do they can join the site but the only photos they can see are profile pictures, they can not wink, they most definitely can't send graphic and quite frankly alarming messages in some instances and they can not participate in Forum discussions. Also that all males sending messages there was a function to forward abusive messages to Admin for their immediate attention.

So by that definition i would have to pay a membership for this profile while having a free cpls profile + not all single guys on here are like that alot know how to speak to people "
