We tried After8 twice before CJ's. 1st time was very quiet, decided to try again on a busier night. 2nd put us off completely. There was a group of single men basically on a night out, very d*unk and were loudly taking bets which one of them S would fuck first. They started surrounding her any time she was alone too. We left very quickly and almost gave up on the scene after that. We don't know if they still allow guys to basically wander in like that, this was a few years ago but it's not the type of environment we enjoy. Our preference is CJ's for the Couples nights.

That's awful I also had an uncomfortable experience at after8.

Our preference was for Aberdeen as it had a hot tub and sauna, plus it was only an hour away, but I like CJs too.

I know it comes down to different laws and stuff, but surely if places like CJs and after8 are running, there is a way to have more than 2 clubs in Scotland. It can't only be about money? If we won the lottery we would open one in Dundee

Everyone have there own opinions. And all stay loyal to there local/favourite club. Your experience is what've you make if it. Sit in the corner alone all night won't do you any good

Try after8 a couple of times see how you guys find it. Sat is normally the busiest night. Good luck and hope you guys have fun x

I find because most of the forum users tend to frequent cj's and with cj's being in Glasgow it gets a better review in the forums....I do think the geography in the swinging scene plays a part in how successful something is....
