I have a few regular people that I trust, still wouldn't go bareback, and as soon as i read in a profile that the girl is ok with bareback, I stop reading, no matter how hot she is

I always view these threads as look look how ultra cool I am. People complain about the masses who are dont practice safe sex but everyone claims to be as safe as rainwater. Why not just accept that folks safety standards are diffrent I know fems who wont give oral without a condom and others who wouldnt give oral with a condom. Voth have weighed up the risk reward factor and came to their own safety precautions

Each to their own, worry about what you get up to as opposed to what other people are doing, if you don't like it you don't meet them, it's that simple.

too many people are stuck on what others are doing ..there will always be people who will take the chance but its what you do that counts to you

Definitely safe sex only person I trust for bare back is my partner. What it boils down to for us is how do you trust someone you barely know. Not that it protects you from others but certainly minimises the chances

Once meet a lady and had great sex back at hers while hubby out. Had a condom on but after cumming and withdrew I discovered the condom had completed burst and was rolled up at the bottom of my cock. I guess unintended bare back but no ill effects and was also snipped!

In general you dont which is why you just have to worry about yourself and take the level of precaution you are comfortable with ...

However there are a few hints about how safe someone generally is ... For example if they turn up for a meet and never brought condoms ...

Some of these threads are ideal for pointig out people that dont play safe or if they have a single profile but bareback photos (particularly with a number of different people)

The only other explanation for those kinds of pics in my mind is they are happy to willy nilly post pictures they have taken with ex partners and i wouldnt want to meet that kind of person either as i think it shows a total lack of respect

"Good thing you're totally safe from all STDs if you wear a condom eh? "

Condoms offer no protection against genital herpes as its spread through skin on skin contact through all of the boxer short region.

Just saying as I teach sexual health.

Would be quite ironic If you were into bareback.

Accidents do happen. But the condom is there as a safeguard really. We can't really contend with things like a condom breaking - it happens. But, it's a ton better than not having one in the first place.

Safety first guys. That's my motto. Except in Latin to make it sound really profound!

"Never really understood the logic of doing it with people you trust. You can have an STD and not know it!"

You can HIV or Hep B for 10 years and not know it, so trust doesn't come into it.

you decide what you do but don't die of ignorance.

What I don't get is if you would wear or make someone wear a condom before having sex why is it a problem for you if said person has bareback sex with someone else?

If I meet a couple it's obvious that they when together have bare sex, so should I then not want to have sex with the female because she has fucked her partner bare?

Just because they are dating/married doesn't mean the don't have an std but doesn't mean they do.

If everyone lived by all these double standards no one would ever have sex.

If you don't do bareback fine use protection, and don't judge anyone else on their decisions.

Im pretty sure when people refer to avoiding people who bareback they dont include people who only do it with their own husband/ wife

I suppose its about working out probabilities ... If they have been bareback with someone outside their relationship there is a higher chance they have an unknown std (not saying it automatically happens)

So then if they statistically have a higher chance of having an std and condoms are not 100% safe (they can be passed through bodily fluid im sure not just penetrative sex And i guess its not like you are wearing surgical gloves while you play with her and most arent using condoms for oral) then there is statistically a higher chance that you could get something from them

Tbh in the above foreplay scenario there is actually no reason why you could end up with something from someone who uses condoms all the time and also picked something up during foreplay and didnt know they had it ... The odds are just alot lower

That was my point earlier really ... You decide what is a suitable level of risk for you and protect yourself to that level ... If that means your turning up in a full rubber suit fine ... If it means you are turning up bareback fine ... Its your decision ... You just have to respect that if people are aware of how you play it will influence the level of risk they think you bring to the table wether that be good or bad

alot more eloquently put than I posted earlier. Alot could do with reading this to many assume safe sex means wearing a condom which simply isnt safe . As you have wrote it just makes it statistically safer than not wearing one. I know fems that use gum sheilds but still touch with bare hands itchy eye shortly after not so safe. Its about the lvl of safty precautions give you comfort to move with.

The thing is though, if you get an STD it's not exactly an instant death sentence. I think the total drama attitude of some people on here actually implies a lack of knowledge, rather than making them seem clued up.

I agree whole heartedly most stds are treatable others are managed. I especially dont like the shady nature that surrounds stds. Theres nothing shady about them you can catch them the first time or 27millionth time. I find it amazing the amount of club goers who claim safe sex only but are soft playing with multiples. The only safe sex is celibacy and even that has risks
